A claim is simply your request for reimbursement through your Zane Plan.
Each time you submit a claim, an individual claim number will be generated and your claim will be reviewed by Zane Benefits before being reimbursed by your employer.
Zane Benefits reviews your claims to keep your employer compliant with the IRS, HIPAA, ACA, and ERISA laws, so they can reimburse you tax-free. Also, we keep all of your medical information private from your employer. They simply know you've had a valid medical expense, and the amount they owe you.
